- Our services cover a wide range of UL Standards, including UL 508 and UL 508A for industrial control panels, as well as UL 891 for switchgear, among others.
- Our evaluations include comprehensive on-site testing and thermal imaging where necessary.
- After evaluation, we'll provide a detailed report highlighting any issues or nonconformities found.
The Process:
- Your journey with us begins by completing an application and providing machine photos and details.
- Our expert, Joe, alongside an engineering partner, reviews your submission to determine the cost for UL evaluation. Then we issue a contract for evaluation.
- We schedule an on-site evaluation to perform the necessary tests and inspections.
- Post-evaluation, we will furnish you with a detailed report. You then decide if you prefer retrofits to be self-performed or handled by our team.
- If you choose Independence Power Systems for the retrofits, you'll receive a full retrofit proposal.
- All work is tracked meticulously through progress billing until completion.
- Upon completion and final payment, we issue the UL certification and sticker for your machinery.

Issue Resolution & Retrofit Proposal
After providing a detailed report of any issues, clients choose to self-address or receive our detailed retrofit proposal. Our industrial expertise leads the way.
Final Inspection & Certification
We conduct a final check post-retrofit, guaranteeing defect-free installations for a year. Upon satisfaction, we issue the UL certification sticker.
